Mel Nebhrajani CB

Mel joined the Government Legal Service in 1998, where she has worked for a range of departments, including the Cabinet Office and Number 10. She has led on the Human Rights Act, the Devolution settlements, the Civil Partnership Act, the EU Exit, and government’s legal work on COVID-19. Mel was highly commended in the Asian Women of Achievement Awards 2020 and appointed Companion of the Order of the Bath in the 2021 New Year’s Honours List.
