Chief People Officer, ECB
Claire joined The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2016. Over the past 6 years she has held several key roles within the organisation, including a place on the leadership team that delivered the successful ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in 2017, as well as the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2019.
As Chief People Officer, Claire creates and guides the People strategy whilst leading a team which delivers on the goal of empowering people to make a difference. Claire is passionate about inclusion and creating opportunities for everyone to grow and thrive in an exciting environment.
A specialist in organisational change, she has helped the ECB successfully navigate the Covid pandemic. She is now well positioned to guide and support the organisation as it focuses on improving diversity and inclusion within cricket, encouraging more people from all backgrounds to both work in and play the game.
Before joining the ECB, Claire spent 9 years at the British Horse Racing Authority (BHA) as the Head of HR, developing and leading the delivery of their HR strategy.
