Suki Kaur Gill is Head of Investigations at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Suki has over 20 years’ experience working in a regulatory environment, and has an extensive career working in risk, compliance, regulation and disciplinary investigations.
Suki started her career in private practice where she worked for two years, and then joined the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), formally known as the Solicitors Complaints Bureau. Suki worked at the SRA for over 20 years, and her passion to develop, saw her move through a number of different roles and opportunities. Suki’s first role was in customer services, but her heart has always been in investigation work. Suki worked as an Investigation Caseworker for approximately 6 years, and then moved to senior management positions. As a manager, Suki still kept her hand in investigations by providing case advice on investigation cases as well as manage large investigation teams. Academically, Suki has studied part-time whilst working full-time in her career, and has a BSc honours degree in Management, and an MBA in Business Administration.
Suki has recently moved from regulating the solicitors’ profession, to regulating chartered surveyors. Suki is now responsible for a large Investigation function within RICS (UK) and is currently building her operation by strengthening both capability and capacity in her investigation teams.
